Album Info:Being of modest height myself, I find these little gems fascinating so I've given them their own album. I wonder...when I look one in the eye, does it look back?

He has nothing to say to me
Title:  He has nothing to say to me

His job is done
Title:  His job is done
Description:  US&S dwarf signal still stands guard over the (removed) "North Extension" track on the NS (former W&LE/NKP/N&W) line at Ironville (Toledo), Ohio. One rail of the out-of-service track is visible at the far left edge of the picture. Homestead Yard is in the distance. The tower is no longer manned but still used by maintenance forces, and is still well-maintained. Many thanks to contributor Louis Brzuchalski, who set me straight on the location names and details!

ALL RED
Title:  ALL RED
Description:  US&S two unit dwarf signal displaying STOP for an obvious reason as NS 7719 approaches, pulling a cut out of the north (or west?) end of the former Wheeling and Lake Erie (then NKP, then NW, then NS) yard at Homestead (Toledo), Ohio. Ironville tower is not occupied any more (except by signal maintenance forces), but it sure enough was in good shape when I saw it in 2008. Many thanks to contributor Louis Brzuchalski, who set me straight on the location names and details!
