US&S two unit dwarf signal displaying STOP for an obvious reason as NS 7719 approaches, pulling a cut out of the north (or west?) end of the former Wheeling and Lake Erie (then NKP, then NW, then NS) yard at Homestead (Toledo), Ohio. Ironville tower is not occupied any more (except by signal maintenance forces), but it sure enough was in good shape when I saw it in 2008. Many thanks to contributor Louis Brzuchalski, who set me straight on the location names and details!

Louis Brzuchalski General This is a replacemtnt for a Searchlight signal that was wiped out by a shifted load, sometime in the 1970.s or 1980,s. 9/8/2011 8:38:22 PM

Curt Beal General Great series. In my area they are still using CPL dwarfs and look totally different from these. 9/12/2011 1:59:11 PM
