Geneva Short General I believe powdered material such as cement, flour, sugar were the most common commodities, although I've seen similar cars used for plastic pellets (used in injection molding processes). The receiving truck usually has some sort of pneumatic apparatus to load itself off the rail car. 9/10/2011 1:22:26 PM
